The fast food nation was hit hard when Merlin Spurlock’s documentary, “Super Size Me” stated nothing more than the very obvious. Fast food is bad for you; fast food everyday is really bad. The documentary had several hat tips with awards from the Sundance film fest, writer’s guild of America for screenplay and the International Press award for best documentary. The movie to me was more of a docu-drama, painfully living through poor Merlin’s health deterioration as he wolfed down burger and fry and whatever the Mcd’s menu could fill him with."
